Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, June 11 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery added 3.17 U.S. dollars, or 4.88 percent, to settle at 68.15 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for August delivery gained 2.90 dollars, or 4.34 percent, to settle at 69.77 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
