Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, June 6 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery gained 1.21 U.S. dollars, or 1.91 percent, to settle at 64.58 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for August delivery increased 1.13 dollars, or 1.73 percent, to settle at 66.47 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
