Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, May 22 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery lost 37 cents, or 0.6 percent, to settle at 61.20 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for July delivery decreased 47 cents, or 0.72 percent, to settle at 64.44 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
