Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for June delivery went up 1.72 U.S. dollars, or 2.78 percent, to settle at 63.67 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for July delivery added 1.67 dollars, or 2.57 percent, to settle at 66.63 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
