Croatia celebrates International Labor Day with festivities nationwide


ZAGREB, May 1 (Xinhua) -- Celebrations were held in the capital and across Croatia on Thursday to mark International Labor Day.

In Zagreb, the largest gathering took place in the central Maksimir Park, where as many as 45,000 servings of beans and 30,000 portions of strudel were distributed. Musical performances and entertainment activities were also held in the park to commemorate the annual occasion.
