NEW YORK, April 3 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices shot up on Thursday.
The West Texas Intermediate for May delivery dropped 4.76 U.S. dollars, or 6.64 percent, to settle at 66.95 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for June delivery lost 4.81 dollars, or 6.42 percent, to settle at 70.14 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
