NEW YORK, March 11 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended lower on Tuesday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 478.23 points, or 1.14 percent, to 41,433.48. The S&P 500 sank 42.49 points, or 0.75 percent, to 5,572.07. The Nasdaq Composite Index shed 32.22 points, or 0.18 percent, to 17,436.1.
