CAPE TOWN, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- The African Mining Indaba 2025 kicked off on Monday in Cape Town, the legislative capital of South Africa, with South African Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources Gwede Mantashe calling for cooperation to shape the future of the continent's mining industry.
The 31st Investing in African Mining Indaba runs until Thursday with a theme of "Future-Proofing African Mining, Today!" It is expected to draw more than 10,000 attendees, including many industry heavyweights.
