Weekly storage of natural gas in U.S. decreases: EIA


HOUSTON, Jan. 3 (Xinhua) -- Working gas storage in the contiguous United States was 3,413 billion cubic feet in the week ending Dec. 27, a net decrease of 116 billion cubic feet from the previous week, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said Friday in a report.

Total working gas storage dropped by 1.9 percent from this time last year, but up 4.7 percent above the five-year average, according to the EIA's Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report.
