US State Dept approves $941 million sale of F-16 jet equipment to Argentina

(Reuters) - The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale of F-16 fighter jet equipment and support to Argentina for an estimated $941 million, the Pentagon said on Wednesday.

The principal contractor for the sale would be Lockheed Martin, the Pentagon said in a statement.
