Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for December delivery gained 1.40 U.S. dollars, or 2.08 percent, to settle at 68.61 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for December delivery increased by 1.43 dollars, or 2.01 percent, to settle at 72.55 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
