Chinese-invested mining company supports school feeding program in Namibia


WINDHOEK, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- The Swakop Uranium Foundation, a foundation affiliated with the Chinese-invested uranium mining company Swakop Uranium, has helped improve education and nutrition in Namibia by supporting the Westside High School feeding facility in the Erongo Region.

The feeding facility with 250 registered children was officially inaugurated Tuesday by the Governor of the Erongo Region Neville Andre, aiming to provide daily meals for orphans and vulnerable children at the school to ensure they receive proper nutrition.
