1st LD: Policeman injured in Paris attack: minister


PARIS, July 18 (Xinhua) -- A policeman was wounded Thursday in an attack in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin announced on X.

In his previous post, Darmanin said the victim was a woman.

According to images of the French news channel, the policeman was wounded in a knife attack in the famous Avenue des Champs-Elysees.
