Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, June 14 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices inched down on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery dropped 17 cents, or 0.22 percent, to settle at 78.45 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for August delivery decreased by 13 cents, or 0.16 percent, to settle at 82.62 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
