Crude futures settle lower

NEW YORK, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Tuesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for June delivery lost 54 cents, or 0.68 percent, to settle at 79.26 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for July delivery decreased by 83 cents, or 0.99 percent, to settle at 82.88 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
