10.8 mln children in need of humanitarian aid in Ethiopia: UN

ADDIS ABABA, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said on Monday that 10.8 million children in Ethiopia are in need of emergency humanitarian aid in 2024.

In its latest Ethiopia Humanitarian Situation Report, the UN agency said at least 20 million people, including about 10.8 million children, are in need of emergency humanitarian aid in 2024.
