TEHRAN, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- Ten people were injured in a huge fire that erupted at a motorcycle production factory in the northwestern Iranian province of East Azerbaijan on Thursday, the official news agency IRNA reported.

The blaze, which was brought under control following four hours of efforts by more than 30 firefighters, has caused damage to an area measuring over 15,000 square meters in the factory, which is located in Bonab County, IRNA quoted Morteza Minouei, director general of the provincial crisis management department, as saying.

He stressed that out of those injured in the incident, four have been transferred to the medical centers in the provincial capital of Tabriz by helicopter.
