Israel signs wheat cultivation agreements with Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan

JERUSALEM, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- Israel has signed wheat production and cultivation agreements with Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, aiming to maintain Israel's food security, the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said in a statement on Tuesday.

The two agreements were signed in Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan during visits by Israeli Agriculture Minister Avi Dichter to both countries, which concluded on Tuesday.
