ISTANBUL -- The first Türkiye-China Business Conference was held on Tuesday in the largest Turkish city Istanbul, with the participation of more than 100 Turkish and Chinese business people.
The one-day conference, organized by the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye (DEIK) and the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TUSIAD), was held under the theme of "Digital Transformation and Designing the Future." BAGHDAD -- Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani announced Tuesday that Iraq and Iran signed a deal to end the Iranian gas supply crisis to support electricity production in the country.

TEHRAN -- Iran on Tuesday urged the officials of Sweden and other European states to take "immediate and effective" measures against the perpetrators of burning the Quran to prevent its recurrence in the future.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian issued the call in an address to an urgent meeting of the UN Human Rights Council held in Geneva to discuss the recent Quran burning in Sweden, the official news agency IRNA reported. (Iran-Quran Burning-Reaction)

BEIRUT -- Lebanon prepared on Tuesday to file a complaint with the United Nations Security Council against "Israel's annexation" of the northern part of Ghajar, a disputed village on the border with Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
Lebanon's Ministry of Foreign Affairs instructed the country's permanent mission to the UN to file a complaint over "Israel's full occupation and completion of the annexation of the Lebanese part of Ghajar," the ministry said in a statement. (Lebanon-Complaint-Israeli Violation)
