Lebanon, Dominican Republic sign MoU to strengthen cultural cooperation

BEIRUT, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon and the Dominican Republic on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cultural cooperation.

The MoU, which was signed between Lebanese Culture Minister Mohammad Wissam Mortada and Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Lebanon Elvis Alam, allows the two sides to cooperate in the fields of music, folklore arts, and library science, the official National News Agency reported.

The two sides also discussed Lebanese films' participation in a cultural event in the Dominican Republic, with details to be announced at a later stage.
