Polish PM urges Ukraine to allow exhumation of all victims of WW2 massacres

WARSAW (Reuters) - Poland and Ukraine will never be fully reconciled until all Poles killed by Ukrainian nationalists during World War Two have been found and laid to rest, the Polish prime minister said on Tuesday as he marked the anniversary of the Volhynia massacres.

Poland has become one of Ukraine's staunchest allies since Russia invaded in 2022, but ties between the neighbours have been strained for generations by the Volhynia killings that took place from 1943 to 1945.
