TEHRAN -- Iran and Türkiye on Thursday highlighted the need to continue cooperation between their armed forces to improve bilateral military relations, Iran's official news agency IRNA reported.

This came as Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Mohammad Baqeri held a phone talk with new Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler, the report said. (Iran-Turkey-Military Ties)
