CHICAGO, April 28 (Xinhua) -- The Consumer Sentiment Index released Friday by the University of Michigan (UM) Surveys of Consumers rose to 63.5 in the April 2023 survey, up from 62.0 in March and below last April's 65.2.
The Current Index rose to 68.2, up from 66.3 in March and below last April's 69.4, while the Expectations Index rose to 60.5, up from 59.2 in March and below last April's 62.5.
