CHICAGO, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange rose in correction on Friday following a sharp fall on Thursday.
The most active gold contract for February delivery rose 12.4 U.S. dollars, or 0.69 percent, to close at 1,800.2 dollars per ounce.
