U.S. dollar ticks down

NEW YORK, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar fell in late trading on Friday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, declined 0.18 percent to 104.5460 at 3:00 p.m. (2000 GMT).
