BRAZZAVILLE, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Republic of the Congo's economy is recovering, with an estimated growth rate of 2.6 percent in 2022, said the Congolese President Denis Sassou Nguesso in Brazzaville on Monday during a statement to parliament.

The growth is linked to the rise of oil price on the international market, the reforms undertaken within the framework of the program with the International Monetary Fund, and the reforms of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community, said the president.

The country's economy has registered declines in 2020 and 2021.
