Tanzanian launches nationwide campaign to plant trees in water sources


DAR ES SALAAM, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- Tanzanian Vice-President Philip Mpango on Wednesday launched a nationwide campaign aimed at planting trees within water sources to enable them to store enough water for human use.

A statement by the state-run Information Services said Mpango launched the campaign at the Nzovwe water source in the country's southern highlands region of Mbeya.
