NAIROBI, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- Kenya lost 1,235 wildlife between February to October thanks to the acute drought that has affected vast swathes of the country's arid and semi-arid lands, a government official said on Friday.
Peninah Malonza, Cabinet Secretary for Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage said the prolonged dry spell has affected 14 different species of wildlife.
