CAIRO -- There is non-delivery and potential backsliding in finance pledges for climate change by developed countries, Egypt's chief climate negotiator Ambassador Mohamed Nasr said Tuesday.

Nasr made the remarks during a virtual press briefing on the preparations of the 27th Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27) that will be hosted by Egypt next month in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh. (Egypt-COP27-Finance Pledges)
