U.S. dollar ticks up

NEW YORK, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar edged up in late trading on Tuesday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, rose 0.0009 percent to 114.1040 at 3:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).
