Weekly storage of natural gas in U.S. down: EIA

HOUSTON, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Working gas storage in the contiguous United States was 1,382 billion cubic feet in the week ending April 1, a net decrease of 33 billion cubic feet from the previous week, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Thursday.

The total working gas storage decreased by 22.4 percent from this time last year, and was down 17.1 percent from the five-year average, according to the EIA's Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report.
