LIMA (Reuters) -Counting is nearly over in Peru's highly polarized election https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/socialist-castillo-holds-slim-lead-peru-presidential-vote-count-reaches-tense-2021-06-08.

With 96% of votes counted, socialist candidate Pedro Castillo is ahead of rightwing rival Keiko Fujimori by just 76,000 votes, or 0.44 percentage point.
