U.S. agricultural futures rise

CHICAGO, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural futures rose across the board on Friday, led by wheat.

The most active corn contract for March delivery rose 12.5 cents, or 2.34 percent, to settle at 5.47 U.S. dollars per bushel. March wheat soared 16 cents, or 2.47 percent, to settle at 6.63 dollars per bushel. March soybean climbed 16.75 cents, or 1.24 percent, to close at 13.7 dollars per bushel.
