Avoiding extra baggage fee, 4 men get mouth ulcers after eating 30 kg of oranges

BEIJING (ANN): Four men developed mouth ulcers after eating 30 kilograms of oranges to avoid paying extra baggage fee at an airport in Kunming in Yunnan Province, China.

The four apparently ate the oranges within only 20 to 30 minutes as the ¥300 (RM188) fee was “more than they could afford, ” as per Global Times on Jan. 20.
