TEHRAN -- Iranian health authorities announced on Wednesday 6,283 new COVID-19 infections, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 1,261,903, state TV reported.

At her daily briefing, spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education Sima Sadat Lari said 603 of the newly infected in the past 24 hours had to be hospitalized. (Iran-COVID-19)
