U.S. crude oil refinery inputs increase last week: EIA

HOUSTON, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- U.S. crude oil refinery inputs increased during the week ending Jan. 1, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said Wednesday.

U.S. crude oil refinery inputs averaged 14.4 million barrels per day (b/d) last week, 89,000 b/d more than the previous week's average. Refineries operated at 80.7 percent of their operable capacity last week.
