LONDON, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.71 percent, or 46.83 points, to close at 6,555.82 points.
NatWest group, a British banking and financial services company, soared 1.35 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. International Consolidated Airlines Group and Legal & General Group increased by 1.18 percent and 1.17 percent, respectively.
