Oman reports 116 new COVID-19 cases


MUSCAT, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- Oman reported 116 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 126,835, the Omani Health Ministry said Wednesday.

The country also registered five new death from the virus, taking its death toll to 1,480, the ministry tweeted.

Tourists traveling to Oman are now exempted from self-quarantine and coronavirus testing before arriving in the Sultanate, the Oman News Agency reported on Friday.
