Africa's confirmed COVID-19 cases pass 2.12 mln: Africa CDC


ADDIS ABABA, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the African continent has reached 2,120,967, the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) said on Friday.

The continental disease control and prevention agency said in a statement that the death toll related to the pandemic stood at 50,924 as of Friday afternoon.
