BELGRADE, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- The number of COVID-19 cases in Serbia since the beginning of the epidemic in the country has exceeded 50,000, the Health Ministry said in a press release on Tuesday.
A total of 51,083 cases have been confirmed by testing over 1.3 million people, while 844 people have died, according to the ministry, which also announced additional hospital capacities and increased health workers to handle the rising number of new cases.
