India announces inter-ministerial team to visit Telangana to assess rain-related damages

NEW DELHI, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- The Indian government on Wednesday announced that a five-member inter-ministerial team would visit the southern state of Telangana to assess the rain-related damages.

The team led by joint secretary in the federal home ministry Praveen Vasishta will be visiting the affected state from Thursday on a three-day tour for on-the-spot assessment of damages in the rain ravaged state.
