LONDON, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 1.91 percent, or 112.72 points, to close at 5,776.50 points.
EVRAZ, a multinational vertically integrated steel making and mining company, soared 3.54 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Antofagasta and NatWest Group increased by 0.86 percent and 0.74 percent, respectively.
