LISBON, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Portugal registered 2,101 COVID-19 new cases in the last 24 hours, the highest number since the beginning of the pandemic, bringing the total infections to 93,294.
According to the epidemiological bulletin of the Portuguese Directorate-General for Health (DGS), 11 new COVID-19 deaths were reported on the past day, raising the death toll of the country to 2,128.
