HELSINKI, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Finland now exceeds 8,000, the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) said on Wednesday.
New cases are rising faster in the country than at the beginning of July, but the infection numbers are still relatively low, the THL said.
