Internet fave Roger, the 'buff' kangaroo, has died


CANBERRA (dpa): Australia's iconic boxing red kangaroo Roger, who became an internet sensation for his outrageous muscles, has died of old age, local media reported on Monday.

Roger, who was more than two metres tall and weighed 89kg, died aged 12, the Kangaroo Sanctuary in the Australian outback city of Alice Springs where he lived said on Saturday.
