Rebels offer corridor for Ukraine troops out of key town

DONETSK, Ukraine (Reuters) - Pro-Russian rebels will open a safe corridor for Ukrainian troops to leave the encircled town of Debaltseve in east Ukraine if they lay down their weapons and "get out of here", a separatist commander said on Monday.

Despite a ceasefire negotiated last week, Debaltseve, a government-held railway junction town, has been the site of heavy fighting between rebels and thousands of Ukrainian troops who are trapped in the city.
