KINSHASA (Reuters) - Many people were killed when a Congolese cargo plane crashed on Thursday in a crowded Kinshasa neighbourhood, a spokesman for the U.N. mission in Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUC) said.
"There are casualties, many dead, but I don't have any specifics," Major Gabriel De Brosses told Reuters, adding the United Nations had sent a rescue team and firefighters to the crash site.
