MANILA (Reuters) - The Philippine opposition said on Friday it fears the government will try to scuttle its impeachment case against President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and vowed more street protests if their bid to unseat her fails.
Arroyo is facing her worst crisis since coming to power in 2001 and has faced protests, cabinet resignations and calls by leading figures to quit over allegations she cheated her way back into office in presidential elections last year.
