A VIDEO circulating on social media appears to show a woman behaving erratically at the international departure hall of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), drawing the attention of other passengers nearby.
The incident, which apparently took place on Tuesday (Aug 18), has prompted questions about what actually happened and why.
But did a woman really cause a disturbance at KLIA's international departure hall?
Verdict:

TRUE
A 27-year-old Chinese national caused a disruption at the international departure hall of KLIA Terminal 1 on Tuesday, according to Sinar Harian.
The incident occurred at 1.19pm while the woman was waiting to board a flight back to China.
Witnesses saw her shouting loudly, running, singing and dancing in the departure hall, disturbing other passengers in the area.
Terminal security personnel arrived at the scene to calm the situation and brought the woman to the Terminal 1 police station for further action.
Investigations revealed that the woman had arrived in Malaysia as a tourist with a friend on Aug 6 and was scheduled to fly home on Tuesday.
KLIA District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner M Ravi said the woman was subsequently taken to Kajang Hospital and placed in the psychiatric ward for further treatment.
The Chinese embassy was also informed of the incident.
"The woman is suspected to be of unsound mind and is not a drug addict. She is in a stable condition and is still receiving treatment at the hospital," said M Ravi.
According to her friend, the woman is believed to have forgotten to take medication prescribed by her doctor.
