An altercation broke out between two motorists after one allegedly blocked the other’s access to a shopping mall in Johor.

Johor Baru North OCPD Asst Comm Radin Ramlan Radin Taha said the incident happened at about 5pm on Saturday (May 16) outside a mall along Jalan Skudai.

A video of the quarrel involving two local men went viral after it was shared in the “This is Johor” Facebook group.

“The 35-year-old driver claimed the 39-year-old driver was blocking the U-turn intersection near the mall entrance,” said ACP Radin Ramlan.

He said both drivers lodged police reports on the same day at 6pm and decided to settle the matter amicably.

ACP Ramlan also advised motorists and road users to remain calm and control their emotions while on the road and follow road regulations for their own safety.
